W. Akron -- 2 positions: 10 a.m.-10 p.m. every other weekend and 3
p.m.-midnight every Wednesday OR 5-9 p.m. every other Sat./Sun.
Macedonia -- 2 positions: 6-10 a.m., Mon.-Fri. OR 10 a.m.-6 p.m. every
other Sat./Sun. and 4-10 p.m. every Friday.

Human Resources Assistant
United Disability Services has an opening for a full-time Human Resources
Assistant. Position is responsible for handling the administrative and
record keeping functions of the Human Resources Department. Provides
administrative support to the department and maintains HRIS database.
Required: Associate's Degree in Business Management or a minimum of two
(2) years of human resources office experience and strong
administrative/organizational skills. Computer literate in Microsoft
Office. Familiarity with ABRA desired. Ability to treat confidential
information with professionalism and discretion. Broad technical knowledge
of the laws and regulations surrounding HR with excellent human relations and

Candidates must possess the ability to provide passenger assistance and
demonstrate understanding and compassion for the general and specific needs of
the passengers. typical work week is Monday-Friday. Requirements
include 5 years of driving experience, Ohio driver's license with good record
(no more than 2 points), proof of HS diploma/GED, background check and physical
with drug screen. Also must apply for/obtain a Class "C" CDL with
passenger endorsement within 120 days of employment (agency will provide
assistance.). Hourly wage starts at $8.00; with CDL-$8.50; with passenger
endorsement-$9.00.

Habilitation Aide
United Disability Services has a full-time position available for a Habilitation
Aide in our adult services program serving MR/DD individuals. This is a
direct care position responsible for assisting consumers with personal needs
during the day. Hours worked is Monday-Friday, no evenings. This
position is located at our Akron (Sweitzer Ave.) facility. Exceptional

Experience preferred in lifting, feeding and working with MR/DD adults, but no

This position requires a creative/energetic individual who will provide
supervision and instruction of social/recreational/volunteer activities to MR/DD
adults. Experience preferred/will train. Requirements include:

Certificate required within one year of employment, will provide classes.
