Kaleidoscope Magazine seeks submissions for Issue #62

The theme of Issue #62 of Kaleidoscope Magazine will be "Finding Good/Strength in Adversity."
How many times can one view, in hindsight, a difficult experience or period in life and realize that ultimately something positive emerged from what, at the time, may have caused what seemed like insurmountable suffering, either physical, mental, or emotional? Perhaps one is able to dig deep and find unrealized strength. Perhaps new significant relationships emerge to carry us through--sometimes remaining friends long after the crisis has passed. In looking back, it is easier to see those good things. However, the real challenge is to be open to the possibility of good when one is in the middle of a truly difficult time.
Tell your story in fiction, creative nonfiction, personal essays, or poetry.
