Adult Services

Whether you are getting ready to transition from high school to work, looking for an interesting new job, social/recreational or volunteer opportunity, or preparing for retirement from vocational services, United Disability Services can help. We invite you to take a look at both our traditional and non-traditional Adult Services options when selecting the best choice to meet your needs and personal goals.
Quality Personalized Services
Compared to other providers, UDS offers adult programs that are smaller in size. This allows for a more personal setting to respond to individual needs. Program staff helps create a program plan designed especially for individuals, as well as provide families and caregivers with regular updates on progress. Staff members sensitive to personal care needs assist with hygiene and feeding concerns throughout the day, while nursing services are available to meet more specific needs.
Certified Professionals
Throughout all our Adult Services, individuals work closely with a caring and dedicated team of direct care staff members. These professionals are certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and participate in a wide range of continuing education opportunities to keep their skills and knowledge in their field current.
What’s more, UDS voluntarily undergoes a thorough evaluation of agency programs and services by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) every three years. And since our first survey in 1991, we have consistently been awarded three-year certification – the highest level possible.
