United Disability Services welcomes Coach Michael DiFalco as its 2018 All-Star Jam 3-on-3 basketball tournament manager. As tournament manager he will help with recruiting teams and managing the day-of tournament activities. The addition of a tournament manager will allow UDS to grow the size of the event and continuously improve player experience.
DiFalco graduated from The University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in education administration. He was a member of the basketball staff at The University of Akron from 2010-2016 under head coach Keith Dambrot where he was part of six consecutive 20 win seasons and three MAC championship teams.
In 2016, he took over as the head boys basketball coach at Coventry High School in Akron, where he led the Comets to 32 total wins in his first two seasons. He has an extensive background in basketball and over the course of his career has worked with more than 100 high school, college and professional athletes.
The All-Star Jam is a 3-on-3 basketball tournament fundraiser benefiting United Disability Services’ All-Star Training Club. The All-Star Training Club is an inclusive sports program where children and adults of all abilities can play together competitively.
