UDS BraVo! program held their annual Souper Bowl fundraiser on Friday, February 1. With 15 delicious soups entered, judges had a hard time selecting their top three. First place was awarded to B.J. Seabolt for her buffalo chicken chili. Anna Adelman (UDS Vocational Services) received second place for her white chicken chili and third place went to Angie Klingfus (UDS SociAbilities) for her taco soup. After our illustrious judges made their choices, employees, consumers and visitors were able to purchase cups of soup and vote on their favorites.
Thanks to all of our cooks and everyone who helped support the event, the BraVo! team raised $655 for Safe Landing. Safe Landing provides emergency shelter for troubled young people who are 11 years of age and older. The primary purpose of this program is to give immediate assistance to both the young person and the family in a time of crisis.
Thank you to all our cooks and everyone who supported the event by buying soup, desserts and raffle tickets.
