We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This role is responsible for all areas of recruitment and pre-employment to include advertising, screening, selecting and assisting with interviews, and processing reference checks. This person must have the ability to work with management to anticipate hiring needs, maintain employee recognition, and track required training records for compliance. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, possesses excellent time management skills and great attention to detail. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

Availability:

Requirements:
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree (preferred) in HR Management or related field with 1 year HR and recruitment experience OR PHR/SHRM-CP certification with 3 years’ experience in HR and recruitment
- Experience in recruitment required
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations surrounding human resources
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS (ADP Workforce Now a plus)

Full-Time Driver

We are seeking a Full-Time Driver to join our team. The Full-Time Driver is responsible for safely transporting persons with and without disabilities in an Agency vehicle up to 25’ with a 15-passenger occupancy. Accounting Manager
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. United Disability Services is a not-for-profit agency serving Summit County and surrounding areas. At UDS, our mission is to provide and support inclusive, life-enriching options through person-centered programs and advocacy.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the management of all accounting functions and day-to-day operations in the accounting department, including the supervision and review of accounting staff and their work. Responsible for all financial accounting and reporting for the agency, including preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements and other related reports, cash management oversight, maintenance of the accounting system, and internal controls. Ensures that financial recordkeeping and reporting is conducted in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards and in compliance with any local, state, or federal government reporting requirements. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Superior problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to express ideas concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Duties / Responsibilities:
• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting department; delegates and coordinates workflow; manages deadlines; assists, supervises, trains, and evaluates accounting staff in performance of job duties and responsibilities.
• Reviews accuracy and completeness of financial transactions in the accounting system, prepares general ledger account reconciliations, and ensures compliance with fiscal policies and procedures.
• Prepares monthly and year-end financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and any required local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
• Prepares and provides other financial reports and analysis as requested.
• Assists CFO in preparation of annual capital and operating budgets and financial or cash forecasts.
• Coordinates annual audit activities and provide information to external auditors.
• Maintains the chart of accounts, and account structure and report hierarchy in the accounting software system.
• Be familiar with and adhere to all related Agency policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in departmental and Agency meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.

Accounts Receivable Billing Coordinator (Part Time)
Part Time
United Disability Services has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Billing Coordinator. The Accounts Receivable Billing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing billing operations for the Agency. This position is supervised and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Timely submit billing claims or invoices and record in accounting record.
• Monitor and update billing authorizations.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Post payments.
• Review and analyze the accounts receivable aging report for open account balances and follow-up on past due accounts.
• Reconcile accounts receivable with general ledger.
• Create and maintain complete and accurate information in the billing system.
• Assist with audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Associates degree in accounting, Finance or related field OR 2+ years of equivalent work experience in a similar role.
• Prior experience using billing software (Advisor billing software preferred).
• Knowledge of or willingness to develop a good understanding of billing rules and requirements specific to Ohio Department of DD Medicaid HCBS waiver providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently while meeting billing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Must pass a BCI Background Check, Physical and Drug Screen
