Respite Care
Respite is often a lifeline for families and caregivers who experience the stresses of caregiving on a daily basis. Even a brief time away allows families and caregivers to return renewed, reenergized and better able to care for their loved one. Time For Me coordinates a training and referral program matching families needing in- or out-of-home respite care. UDS is currently in need of respite providers. Contact us for more information.
Residential Services
Residential Services provides services in a variety of settings including shared living and semi-independent living depending on the needs and preferences of the individuals served.
Shared Living
Shared Living is when an individual, couple or family in the community opens their home to a person with a disability to live together and share life experiences. The person with a disability becomes a part of the family, and a member of the community, as they participate in social events and activities together.
